Our Passion Makes the Difference.
Rick and Rickie Jones, owners of RJ Race Cars, Inc.® and Quarter-Max® Chassis & Racing Components have established themselves as a dominating force in the chassis builder ranks with customers winning many races and championships on the NHRA Mello Yellow Drag Racing Series, IHRA, and PDRA tours. Named the Car Craft Chassis Builder of the Year in both 1998 and 2002 (the final year the award was presented), RJ Race Cars showcases the innovative spirit and knowledge required to stay ahead of the competition in drag racing's most competitive eliminators.
Rick and his son Rickie Jones work closely with their 22-person staff to provide racers the highest quality components and race cars and also provide hands-on tuning advice to several teams currently competing within the NHRA Pro Stock and Pro Modified ranks. Between their responsibilities at the track and in the shop, the Joneses, both veteran drivers, stepped out of the driver's seat in 2013 to focus more of their attention on their customers. Rick and Rickie Jones also co-crew-chiefed the Elite Motorsports Camaro driven by Erica Enders-Stevens to win back-to-back NHRA Pro Stock World Championships in 2014 and 2015. "Racing is in our blood, and it is our passion. In order to keep our race cars winning races and championships, it's imperative that we stay as hands-on with tuning our race cars and developing new items for our mail order business Quarter-Max."
If their dedication to performance and absolute domination isn't apparent enough through the results of the slew of RJ Race Cars customers, then a trip to their 30,000-sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Galesburg, IL will make it obvious. The well-versed staff at RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max is the key ingredient to the successes seen on the race track.
That's obviously just what's happening at RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max Chassis & Racing Components as their cars continue to dominate. Make no bones about it, domination is exactly what the Joneses and their staff are shooting for and will continue to work hard to achieve." Our staff is simply incredible," said Jones. "We've got some of the most talented fabricators in the business working here and that's what it takes to provide our customers with the best parts and race cars available."
Sportsman racers see and experience the Quarter-Max difference immediately as racers are able to acquire the same components that are winning races in the Pro Stock and almost every other door slammer category. Most companies that manufacture parts for the racing industry don't build the cars that the parts they build apply to, but that's not the case with Quarter-Max. Not only do their products accelerate customers to winning results, but RJ Race Cars' meticulous qualities and finish details are award-winning. The combination of RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max are the best prime example of consistent, dependable, quality built for racers, by racers.
"The same principles and operating technologies that we have developed on the track, and proven with every RJ race car, are cross-engineered in our Quarter-Max line of chassis and racing components. Having had our own in-house race team gave us the opportunity to constantly innovate new products. With that said our research and development program has never been stronger, and I feel that is what also makes us the true leader in chassis technology. Our investment in our facility and participation at the race track shows the commitment we have made to our customers. Being able to test the parts we build on our own car is simply invaluable in this business. There's not one part that goes out the door that we haven't proven on the race track and that's the way we intend to keep it."
