Driveshaft Loop, 360 Degree, 11 in. x 6.5 in., Rectangle Tube, Mild Steel

Driveshaft loops, along with driveshaft covers, are used in the construction of driveshaft tunnels. In the event of driveline failure, most sanctioning bodies require a minimum 12 in. driveshaft tunnel to help protect the driver from a loose or broken driveshaft.

360 degree driveshaft loops are welded to the chassis; most commonly installed between the upper and lower rear crossmembers.

This driveshaft loop is made of 1 in. x 2 in. x .125 in. W rectangular mild steel tubing.

    I really like this hoop a lot. Definitely an improvement over most flat stock style safety hoops

    Needed a drive shaft loop for my 1950 Willys wagot engine conversion. The K cross member right in way of transmission tail housing and drive shaft. I was concerned about wearing my cross member where that's not the case with this heavy duty loop welded in place
