1987-2004 Jeep YJ/TJ Chevy SBC Conversion Radiator

Swapping a SBC radiator into your Jeep can be a lot of parts hunting. When it comes to your cooling system for your Jeep upgrade, that parts hunt ends here. Entropy's radiator/ fan combo is a bolt in to your Jeep and the easy way to upgrade your Jeeps cooling system to handle a V8.

When upgrading to your Jeep to a crossflow radiator for your small block or LSX conversion, there is an important detail most people gloss over. Because the Jeep YJ/TJ engine compartment is fairly narrow, there isn’t a lot of room to make a wide crossflow radiator for the Jeeps. As such, most Jeep crossflow radiators are made with an 18 in. wide x 19 in. high core. For comparison purposes, the core size is in a 68 Chevelle is 28-1/4 in. wide x 19 in. high. That’s a HUGE difference.

An 18 in. wide core with 1 in. tubes is barely adequate to cool a SBC motor. To address this, Entropy only builds the YJ and TJ radiators with 2-rows of 1-1/4 in. tube cores. By using the larger HD cores with 1-1/4 in. tubes, your Jeep will stay cool both cruising down the highway or on slow rock climbs where you need it.

The cores are purpose built for high performance cooling and are not made using standard passenger car (PC) cores. All of their radiators are fully TIG welded, use heavy duty transmission coolers, no epoxy, a billet filler neck, brass overflow connections and a brass drain cock.
