Rick and Rickie Jones, owners of RJ Race Cars, Inc.® and Quarter-Max® Chassis & Racing Components have established themselves as a dominating force in the chassis builder ranks with customers winning many races and championships on the NHRA Mello Yellow Drag Racing Series, IHRA, and PDRA tours. Named the Car Craft Chassis Builder of the Year in both 1998 and 2002 (the final year the award was presented), RJ Race Cars showcases the innovative spirit and knowledge required to stay ahead of the competition in drag racing's most competitive eliminators.
Rick and his son Rickie Jones work closely with their 22-person staff to provide racers the highest quality components and race cars and also provide hands-on tuning advice to several teams currently competing within the NHRA Pro Stock and Pro Modified ranks. Between their responsibilities at the track and in the shop, the Joneses, both veteran drivers, stepped out of the driver's seat in 2013 to focus more of their attention on their customers. Rick and Rickie Jones also co-crew-chiefed the Elite Motorsports Camaro driven by Erica Enders-Stevens to win back-to-back NHRA Pro Stock World Championships in 2014 and 2015. "Racing is in our blood, and it is our passion. In order to keep our race cars winning races and championships, it's imperative that we stay as hands-on with tuning our race cars and developing new items for our mail order business Quarter-Max."
