2020 Product Showcase: Quarter-Max Billet Adjustable Shock Mounts

Quarter-Max Chassis & Racing Components was founded by Rick Jones, an avid racer who wanted to help others go fast. That mindset has guided the company to always look for new products to create that racers actually need. The new Quarter-Max Billet Adjustable Double Shear Shock Mounts are the latest product the company has released to help racers at every level get the most out of their rear shocks.

Quarter-Max looks for ways to assist its customers to achieve their racing goals, which means they have to listen to the feedback they receive. The company’s phone lines and inbox were getting hit with racers looking for a shock mount that was ultra strong and adjustable.

According to Rickie Jones from Quarter-Max, that lead to these new Billet Adjustable Double Shear Shock Mounts being created.

“We got a lot of calls from customers that use the different versions of our billet adjustable shock mounts and they were looking for something that was offset for spacing purposes. They wanted something that was heavy-duty for high horsepower applications that would allow for plenty of adjustment options. These work with all of our 4-link kits and work with different rearend housings too, so they are great for any racer who needs a beefy shock mount.”

The shock mounds move each shock 1” in-board or out-board from the mounting location, this provides more clearance between the shock and rear tire if needed. For more adjustability, the shock mounts have two additional holes that let you move the shock forward or back. This gives you a nice window of fining tuning for the leverage ratio of the shock to the housing. For fastening purposes, a set of stout 3/8” NAS bolts are provided with the shock mount.
