WATCH NOW: Allen Firestone's NHRA Top Sportsman Car Is Repaired & Ready For Action
Last month, current NHRA Top Sportsman national points leader, Allen Firestone won Top Sportsman at the NHRA divisional event in Topeka, Kansas. Unfortunately as soon as Firestone won the final round he had an incident in the shut down area, and the car made contact with the wall. Thankfully Allen was uninjured. A year without a Pro Nitrous victory, coupled with a first-round loss at the last race in Darlington, led perennial class favorite Jay Cox to try something different.
