WATCH NOW: Allen Firestone's NHRA Top Sportsman Car Is Repaired & Ready For Action

Last month, current NHRA Top Sportsman national points leader, Allen Firestone won Top Sportsman at the NHRA divisional event in Topeka, Kansas. Unfortunately as soon as Firestone won the final round he had an incident in the shut down area, and the car made contact with the wall. Thankfully Allen was uninjured. Immediately the car was rushed to the team at RJ Race Cars for emergency repairs. The car was completely disassembled and thoroughly inspected. Repairs were made to chassis, suspension, and body.

After fabrication was complete, Allen brought his engine and transmission, and the car was assembled turn-key. We made sure he was ready to go to the track by scaling the car, and doing a complete front to back chassis setup. Allen tested his car in Tulsa, Oklahoma last week with much success, "The car felt good...everything worked really well, right off the trailer. We had a really good year last year, and we are having a good year this year...and we want to continue building from that", said Firestone. The current NHRA points leader is back and ready for action with his focus now set on the 2020 NHRA U.S. Nationals this weekend.
