Key Features & Innovation
Advanced High-Misalignment Pivot Ball: Featuring a revolutionary new pivot ball design, our Quarter-Max control arms deliver a massive 20-degrees of articulation—a significant upgrade compared to the standard 8 degrees found in most other control arms. This "high-misalignment" pivot ball allows the strut and control arm to utilize the full travel of a long-travel strut without binding, damage, or risk of failure.
The Quarter-Max Solution: While testing the new Penske long-travel struts, our chassis tuners discovered a fatal flaw in standard control arms: the strut was making contact with the outside of the pivot ball cage. This caused damage to the strut and control arm, put the suspension into a bind, and restricted the strut from full motion. Quarter-Max engineered these control arms specifically to eliminate all of these problems, ensuring smooth, unrestricted suspension travel.
